Abstract : Most of the time India face the problems of many events like wars and emergencies
that happen in the domestic and world economy as well. At present, the health of human
being as well as the health of Indian economy is not so good due to COVID-19 Pandemic and
lockdown in the country respectively and all over the world from time to time. The COVID-19
pandemic is an unforeseen event which cannot be predictable, how long it will last and
continue economic loss? As more of the lockdown, more will be the lost of the economy and
also it is not insurable. Further, as unlock 1.0 started, there is increasing the number of
infected persons in the country. So, how the ideology of Gandhiji and Deendayan ji will fit for
the Indian economy to be sustainable? What are their economic implications in the present
context of COVID-19 epidemic? For which in this paper an attempt has been made to give an
account of comparative analysis of economic ideology of Gandhiji and Deendayan ji for a
self-reliance and sustainable India in the post pandemic situation.
