| Dr S. N. Sugumar is Professor and Head of the Department of Economics at Vel’s Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Chennai. He also serves as Director of Health Economics at CDES. He is a Senior Editor on the Journal of Development Economics and Management Research Studies (JDMS). His research interests focus on health economics, development economics, and macroeconomic issues in the Indian context.
