The framework emphasises the importance of techno-historic management— by leveraging past lessons for sustainable and impactful technological development. This modern approach combines historical analysis with strategic foresight to mitigate risks and maximise opportunities. Through a comparative analysis of Indian and global companies, the research identifies best practices and strategic imperatives for organisations aiming to harness historical lessons for future growth. The paper contributes to the evolving discourse on strategic management by emphasising the significance of techno-historic insights in decision-making processes. This research explores the integration of historical technological insights into contemporary strategic management to enhance future innovation and sustainability. The concept of Techno-Historic Management (THM) emphasises learning from past technological successes and failures to inform future decision-making within organisations.
